We can’t stress this enough. Freshly washed and 100% dry hair gives us the best canvas. Bonus tip: If your hair styles best on day two, come in the day before your wedding to Prim Salon for a blowout. You’ll be photo-ready for your rehearsal dinner and perfectly prepped for the wedding morning.

2. If you’re an out-of-town bride, schedule the hair and makeup trial for your rehearsal dinner or welcome event. ✨ It’s a fun way to preview the look and feel confident heading into the big day.

3. Start your skincare early — like 6 months early! ✨
Glowing skin starts long before your wedding week. Begin a consistent skincare routine at least 6 months in advance for smooth, hydrated skin that makes makeup flawless. Avoid trying anything new (especially facials or products) the week of the wedding!

4.Makeup before hair — optional, but recommended✨Most brides prefer getting makeup done first so the hair isn’t in the way and styles can be finalized afterward. If your schedule allows, we recommend it for a smoother flow.

5.Be on time for your hair & makeup slot✨
Every minute counts on your wedding day. Make sure your bridal party knows their time slots and shows up on time (or even early). This keeps the day stress-free and on schedule.

6.Use a veil with a metal clip ✨— not plastic
Plastic clips often don’t grip well and can slip or damage your style. Metal clips are secure, hair-friendly, and work better with all updos and down styles.
